Midori & Friends
Sony Plaza
New York, NY
Our modular 8' x 4' staging can be configured in many different combinations, depending on your needs, budget and available space. This event in the Sony Plaza Public Arcade, was the 3rd Annual Children's Music Festival orchestrated by Midori & Friends. It featured multiple performances, the highlight of which was a choir of 45 children. Although the audience of approximately 300 was mainly seated, all performers were clearly seen as we provided a split level stage.
The lower section of the stage was 24'(W) x 8'(D) x 2'(H) and the upper section was 16" higher and measured 24'(H) x 4'(D) x 40"(H). |

Starfield: Resound '08
Rutgers University Livingston Campus
Livingston, NJ
When the organizers of first-time Christian rock concert "Resound '08" approached us about their event, we had to carefully guide them through the minefield that event production can be to the uninitiated! Their event, held in the gym of Rutgers' University Livingston Campus, featured Christian rock band "Starfield" and required staging technology (carefully set-up so as not to damage the gym floor), sound, lighting, backline and of course crew. Our recommendation was that we also supply a 600A generator to power this production. The lighting system consisted of over 40 moving, conventional and L.E.D. fixtures while the sound system was 20KW of our J60 5-way active F.O.H. system and Sennheiser wireless in ear monitors.
Here is a portion of the opening song, as recorded by one enthuastic fan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDgFSQLisOM&feature=related |

School Musical
Louis Pasteur M.S. 67
Little Neck, NY
Our philosophy with all events is that those who are seated (or standing) in the back rows should be able to hear the performance almost as well as those in the front rows. To this end, our sound design for these events has been to distribute the amplified sound as evenly as possible. School musicals should also be given a similar treatment. To further enhance the audio performance, we also utilize the latest in wireless head-worn microphone (as seen in most Broadway Theaters) technology from leading manufacturers Sennheiser and Countryman, to ensure that the principals can be heard no matter which way their head may be turned! Pictured here is one of our systems in the M.S. 27 auditorium for their annual school musical. |
